Facilities Investment Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Facilities Investment Manager to lead the facilities investment program for a critical U.S. Navy mission on Diego Garcia. The role combines program oversight, team leadership, and emergency response to ensure the island’s facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall Facilities Investment program, aligning maintenance, repairs, and improvements with contract requirements and client expectations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute facility investment projects, delivering on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and implement operational goals that enhance long‑term value and functionality of managed facilities.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication with government representatives, contractors, and internal staff.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support during normal government hours and be on‑site within two hours for contingencies or emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with government standards, policies, and contract terms, and prepare regular performance and status reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or in a comparable multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Proven leadership and management experience in complex, high‑stakes settings.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute facilities investment programs meeting operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving capabilities.
