Facility Administrator

About the role

The Facility Administrator will oversee the efficient operation of our healthcare facility in Westlands, Nairobi. This role ensures that all administrative, financial, and compliance aspects run smoothly, supporting high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day facility operations and coordinate with clinical and support staff.
• Maintain and supervise the Health Management Information System (HMIS) to ensure accurate data handling.
• Oversee budgeting, basic financial tracking, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan healthcare laws, ethical standards, and internal policies.
• Lead crisis management efforts and resolve operational problems promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, public health, nursing, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar facility administration role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking with a focus on problem solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) and general computer applications.
