Factory Logistics Manager

About the role

The Factory Logistics Manager will oversee all logistics processes and systems, ensuring compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements and BAT standards for both domestic and export markets. This role is critical as the operation expands its export hub and relies heavily on third‑party logistics providers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure logistics processes, SAP, WMS and records management meet compliance and industry standards.
• Manage 3PL relationships to guarantee on‑time, in‑full deliveries and resolve any performance issues.
• Control logistics costs, drive continuous improvement and maintain accurate KPI dashboards.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, business continuity plans and contingency actions for domestic and export supply chains.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, fleet management and product recall procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain logistics, including inbound, outbound and warehousing.
• Proven track record of leading continuous‑improvement programmes and managing third‑party logistics.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑influence skills.
