Fast Food Cook – Nairobi

About the role

Chicken Fifo is looking for a full‑time Fast Food Cook to work on‑site at its Nairobi location. You will be responsible for preparing fried chicken and other menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fried chicken and additional menu items according to established recipes.
• Manage food preparation stations and keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Follow portion guidelines and ensure consistent food quality during busy periods.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Support fellow kitchen team members to create an efficient and positive work environment.

Required profile

• Experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in fast‑food or quick‑service settings.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work quickly, multitask, and handle high‑pressure situations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail for accurate portion control.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
