Field Director - Operations, People & Client Success

About the role

Career Directions Limited (CDL) is hiring a Field Director for its Kenya operations, a hybrid, full-time permanent position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility for U.S. client meetings. Reporting to the CEO and leading the Kenya-based team leads, the role covers operations leadership, recruiting, client relationship management, HR oversight, employee development and financial oversight. It is initially hands-on and becomes more strategic as the organization grows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Kenya operations, execute the operating plan, set standards and accountability, and represent Kenya to executive leadership
• Oversee Recruiting, Client Concierge, HR, Finance/Accounting and Executive Support; coach, mentor and develop managers and staff
• Take part in client meetings, translate client needs into recruitment specifications, and oversee client relationships and escalations
• Develop sourcing strategies, screen and interview candidates, and manage placements from application to onboarding
• Monitor performance, handle escalations, and coordinate training and reassignment
• Oversee employee records, contracts, onboarding and offboarding, and ensure compliance with Kenyan employment and labour requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote confidentiality and data protection
