Field Sales Executive (Kisumu)

About the role

The Field Sales Executive will represent UMS Kenya in the Kisumu area, promoting the company’s prepaid metering solutions to residential and commercial customers. This is a full‑time, on‑the‑ground position that requires proactive prospecting, relationship building, and achievement of sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new customers and sales agents.
  • Promote and sell UMS prepaid metering solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and follow‑ups.
  • Meet monthly sales targets and submit activity reports.
  • Gather market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous field sales experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Must own or have access to reliable transport.
