Field Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Sales Representative to join our Nairobi sales team. The role focuses on developing sales strategies, acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones across the retail, fashion and FMCG sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities using a variety of customer acquisition techniques.
• Forecast sales, devise innovative sales methodologies and assess their effectiveness.
• Attract new clients by creating and implementing tailored sales processes.
• Evaluate client needs, build long‑lasting relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Meet individual and team sales targets and collaborate with fellow reps to share best practices.
• Maintain and expand the client database within the assigned territory and generate regular sales reports.

Required profile

• BS/BA degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field (high school diploma with relevant experience also considered).
• Proven experience as a Field Sales Representative or similar role with a track record of meeting quotas.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CRM software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
