Sales Engineer – Borehole Drilling & Irrigation Solutions

About the role

The Sales Engineer will drive new business for borehole drilling, equipping, machinery and irrigation solutions in Kitengela. Working on‑site, you will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to match client needs and close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new customers for water‑related engineering services.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
• Conduct site visits and demonstrate product capabilities.
• Provide basic technical support and coordinate with engineering and operations teams.
• Follow up on quotations, close sales and ensure accurate documentation.
• Report sales activities regularly and comply with company policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong sales engineering and technical support abilities.
• Proven customer service and relationship‑building experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant experience in water engineering, drilling or irrigation systems (preferred).
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Water Resources or related field (preferred).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kitengela and conduct field visits.
