Field Sales Representative – Nandi Region

About the role

HomeBiogas is looking for a motivated Field Sales Representative to promote its renewable‑energy and waste‑management solutions among smallholder farmers in the Nandi area. You will work directly with farming communities, creating product awareness, generating leads, and closing sales while building long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Create product awareness through field visits, farmer group meetings, and local market activations.
• Identify, generate, and qualify sales leads within the assigned territory and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Conduct follow‑ups with prospects and convert qualified leads into confirmed sales.
• Explain product value and financing options clearly to support informed purchase decisions.
• Achieve and consistently exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Collect and submit accurate sales data, lead information, and field reports using the provided tools.
• Represent HomeBiogas professionally, building trust and long‑term relationships within farming communities.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of direct B2C sales experience, preferably with smallholder farmers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling agricultural, clean‑energy or asset‑based products is an advantage.
• Fluency in the local language and ability to work independently in rural settings.
