Field Sales Representative – Software Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Field Sales Representative to promote our Business Management and POS software solutions across Nairobi’s SME sector. You will leverage your existing network of business owners to generate new opportunities and close sales.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through your established network of SME owners.
• Prospect, present, demonstrate, and sell Business Management & POS software solutions.
• Understand clients’ operational challenges and recommend appropriate software.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, IT or related field.
• 2–4 years of field sales experience, preferably selling business software, POS systems, ERP or SaaS solutions.
• Established network of SME business owners you can engage immediately.
• Proven track record of selling into sectors such as retail, hospitality, education, gyms, pharmacies, etc.
• Strong understanding of industry‑specific challenges and buying behaviour.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
