About the role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead a team of 6‑7 sales professionals for a digital payment solution app targeting the Kenyan market. The role involves driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and ensuring smooth customer onboarding for the Tourist Tap platform.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of 6‑7 sales resources.
- Drive sales and revenue growth for the digital payments app.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Track team performance and provide regular reports.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and support.
Required profile
- 8–10 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in software/technology, fintech, banking or digital payments.
- Prior experience managing a sales team.
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of the Kenyan market.
