Field Specialist – Artificial Lift Services (ESP)

About the role

Join the Field Service team to support customers on‑site by installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and related artificial lift equipment in offshore and on‑shore oil and water wells.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, assemble and install ESP submersible equipment, tubing and cable banding.
• Calculate surface voltage, select transformer connections and wire sizes, and set up surface equipment while ensuring safety devices are functional.
• Monitor, test and troubleshoot down‑hole ESP systems to maximise well productivity and pump life.
• Perform specialized electrical work such as basic VSD repairs, pressure system troubleshooting, switchboard wiring conversions and installation of voltage‑analysis tools.
• Carry out maintenance, inspections, testing and commissioning of ESP and other artificial lift equipment.

Required profile

• Two‑year technical diploma.
• Minimum 2 years experience with ESP submersible equipment and artificial lift systems.
• Proven ability in maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting of artificial lift equipment.
• Knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (VSD) and automated control systems.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent written and oral communication skills.
