Field Specialist – Drilling Services

About the role

Join Baker Hughes’ innovative Field Service team as a Field Specialist in Drilling Services. You will work on‑site with customers across the value chain, helping to optimise extraction, production and processing of energy while reducing operating costs and improving productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and supervision to junior field engineers on day‑to‑day well‑site activities.
• Advise external customers and third‑party wellsite colleagues on product and service selection.
• Execute additional duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements and core values.
• Collaborate with field supervisors, local operations management and customers to confirm objectives are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum three years of experience in drilling operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to rig sites, customer facilities and training events.
