Field Supervisor I – Drilling Services

About the role

The Field Supervisor I will lead and mentor junior field engineers on well‑site projects, ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations for our customers. This position works on‑site on a rotational basis, partnering with external customers and third‑party teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as project leader and mentor for junior field engineers.
• Provide direct instruction and supervision on day‑to‑day well‑site activities.
• Advise external customers and third‑party well‑site colleagues as needed.
• Execute additional duties assigned by Operations Management.
• Conduct all activities in line with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance, and core values.
• Create value for customers and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in drilling operations as a DD supervisor.
• DDx experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drilling operations and applications.
• Ability to identify appropriate products and services for simple to complex applications.
• Comfort working in a global matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings and training.
