Finance Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a disciplined, analytical Finance Assistant to support financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, accounts receivable follow‑up, reconciliations, financial data analysis, and digital finance transformation. The role involves approximately 30 % travel across Kenya for AR field support.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgets, forecasts, management packs, finance dashboards and compliance schedules.
• Prepare concise, data‑backed insights on trends, variances, risks, AR ageing and cost improvements.
• Maintain audit‑ready reconciliations, financial reports, workpapers and audit files.
• Assist in optimizing finance modules, ERP data quality, automation and collaboration workflows.
• Travel to client sites across Kenya for accounts‑receivable follow‑up and relationship building.
• Build professional relationships with CFOs, finance teams, procurement and operations stakeholders.
• Organise finance‑focused CMEs/webinars and account education forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Statistics.
• Fully completed CPA(K) certification (mandatory).
• 1–2 years experience in finance, accounts receivable, reporting, reconciliations or audit support.
• Early‑career candidates who meet the mandatory qualifications are encouraged to apply.
