Finance Director (Kenya Nationals)

About the role

inSupply Health is seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the organisation's finance and operations function. The role will ensure financial sustainability, strong governance, donor compliance and high‑quality reporting while advising the CEO on financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee financial strategies that support organisational sustainability and strategic priorities.
• Lead budgeting, revenue forecasting, cash‑flow management and cost control for multi‑country operations.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, risk management and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and donor requirements.
• Provide strategic oversight of grant and donor financial management, including reporting and audit follow‑up.
• Lead continuous improvement of financial policies, systems and processes, promoting effective use of ERP and financial‑management systems.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance and operations team, fostering accountability and capability.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Qualified accountant with active membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., ICPAK, ACCA).
• At least 12 years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in senior financial leadership within international development, consulting, non‑profit or social‑impact organisations.
• Experience managing multi‑donor grants and budgets exceeding USD 10 million across multi‑country settings.
• Strong knowledge of financial governance, taxation, statutory and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Required skills

• ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
