Finance Director – Strategic Leadership Role

About the role

InSupply Health is seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its finance and operations function across a multi‑country environment. The role reports to the CEO and sits on the senior management team, driving financial sustainability, governance and donor compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies that support organisational sustainability and strategic priorities.
• Oversee financial performance, cash flow, forecasting, budgeting and cost management for budgets exceeding USD 10 million.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance and risk management, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and donor requirements.
• Lead internal, external and donor audits and follow‑up on audit findings.
• Provide strategic oversight of grant and donor financial management, including reporting and risk escalation.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial policies, systems and processes, promoting effective use of ERP and Microsoft Dynamics.

Required profile

• Master’s (and Bachelor’s) degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Active membership of a recognised professional accounting body (ICPAK, ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 12 years of progressive experience, including 5 years in senior financial leadership within international development or non‑profit organisations.
• Experience managing multi‑donor grants and budgets over USD 10 million across multiple jurisdictions.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP/financial‑management systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
