About the role

We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern to support our client’s finance operations in Nairobi. This role offers hands‑on experience with invoicing, staff payments, bank reconciliations and month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices promptly to ensure timely payments.
• Support staff payments, including wages, per diem and field reimbursements.
• Assist in recording and tracking staff accountabilities.
• Prepare and circulate daily bank statements accurately.
• Support month‑end financial close activities.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes.
• Perform other finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA (Section II/III) or ACCA in progress.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
