About the role
RapidGrowth Workforce Partners is seeking a Finance Manager/Accountant to lead its accounting operations in Nairobi. The role involves overseeing daily accounting activities, preparing accurate financial statements, and providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop, monitor and analyse budgets, forecasts and financial risk profiles.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GAAP/IFRS standards and internal controls.
- Coordinate external audit processes and prepare required documentation.
- Provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
- Proven experience in a finance manager or accountant role.
