Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Nairobi office, supporting a leading commercial real‑estate services firm operating across Africa and the Middle East. The role will act as a strategic finance partner for business units, tenants, property asset managers and external clients, ensuring robust financial stewardship of our client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to provide financial insights that influence decision‑making.
• Oversee the full financial function for the client portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems that meet the needs of property owners and stakeholders.
• Manage capital expenditure, lease and supplier contracts, and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Procurement, IT, Accounting and Financial Controllers, as well as external contractors, tenants and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in real‑estate or property services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and drive change.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
