Finance Manager – Manufacturing & Warehousing

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial function for a medical manufacturing business in Westlands, Nairobi. You will shape financial strategy, ensure accurate reporting, and support senior leadership with data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Oversee preparation of timely financial statements and management reports.
• Analyse performance variances, key business drivers and present insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax requirements; manage internal and external audits.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Design and monitor internal control systems and safeguard company assets.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity planning and treasury operations.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• CPA‑K or ACCA finalist (minimum requirement).
• Minimum 5 + years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record in financial management, reporting and compliance.
