Finance Operations Specialist

About the role

The Finance Operations role at Jeff Hamilton (K) Ltd is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Nairobi County, Kenya. You will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, ensure data accuracy, and support compliance with internal controls and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial transactions, monitor cash flows and support budgeting activities.
• Prepare, review and analyse financial reports, statements and management reports.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities from financial data and provide insights for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, respond to finance‑related inquiries and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certifications (CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate financial data and support data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and clear documentation.
• Ability to work on‑site in Nairobi, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Experience using financial software for transaction processing and reporting.
