Finance Strategy Associate

About the role

SunCulture is looking for a Finance Strategy Associate to support its fundraising and financial strategy during a high‑growth phase. The role works closely with the Finance team and external partners, offering hands‑on experience in scaling a climate‑focused agri‑tech business in emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and use financial models for budgeting, business planning and capital‑raising activities.
• Develop short‑term cash‑flow forecasts, unit‑economics analyses, pricing studies and elasticity of demand assessments.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Business Intelligence teams on data shaping, analytics and forecasting models, leveraging IoT, payment and other data sources.
• Assist the CFO in updating and executing the financing strategy, coordinating equity, debt, grant and technical‑assistance capital‑raising processes.
• Manage financing workstreams such as FX‑risk management, investment memoranda, data rooms and due‑diligence coordination.
• Provide finance support for business‑development initiatives, including new product pricing, carbon‑revenue streams, insurance, refurbished sales and market expansion.
• Prepare stakeholder reports on financial, operational and impact performance for the board, shareholders, lenders and grantors.
