Financial Advisor (Insurance)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Financial Advisor (Insurance) in Nairobi. The role combines lead generation, client needs assessment, product sales and after-sales support, with income based on commissions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, social media and industry events, and build a steady pipeline of prospects.
• Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and risks, assess their needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
• Explain products, benefits, exclusions and premiums, prepare quotations and proposals, and close sales in line with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain long-term client relationships, review policies and keep accurate customer records.
• Help clients with applications, renewals, amendments and cancellations, guide them through claims and liaise with insurers.
• Keep sales records and reports up to date and stay informed on industry trends and new products.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in insurance sales, financial advisory, banking or similar sales roles is preferred; fresh graduates with strong sales aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of insurance products and financial planning concepts is an advantage.
