Financial Services Trader – Nairobi

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Services Trader to join our Nairobi team. The role involves executing securities transactions, supporting investment operations, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source clients and execute buying and selling of securities on behalf of clients or the firm.
• Monitor daily market activity, conduct research and identify investment opportunities.
• Analyze financial data and track performance of stocks, bonds and other instruments.
• Provide clients with market updates, product information and investment insights.
• Support client onboarding, account management and maintain accurate portfolio records.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain comprehensive trading documentation.
• Prepare regular transaction, market and investment reports for management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with Capital Markets Authority regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CISI, ACCA are a plus.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
