Fish Processing Plant Supervisor

About the role

The Fish Processing Plant Supervisor will lead daily operations at Victory Farms' processing facility, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all fish processing activities including receiving, descaling, gutting, sorting and chilling.
• Monitor yields, minimize waste, and optimise output to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and other food safety regulations through routine inspections.
• Train, allocate duties and evaluate staff performance, maintaining adequate staffing levels.
• Oversee equipment operation, report malfunctions and coordinate maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, sanitation and inventory records, and submit regular reports.
• Process fish stock transfers in the ERP system and resolve any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Fisheries, Production Management or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in fish processing or food manufacturing.
• 1‑2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards.
