Fleet & Administration Manager (M/F)

About the role

The Fleet & Administration Manager will lead the transport and fleet operations for Africa Global Logistics in Nairobi. This role combines oversight of vehicle utilisation, administrative processes, and staff performance to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily transport operations, monitor fleet productivity, vehicle utilisation and trip performance, and implement improvements.
• Oversee all administrative functions of the transport department, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, procurement coordination and compliance with SOPs.
• Track departmental KPIs, review operational reports, and drive corrective actions to meet performance targets.
• Lead, coach and evaluate the Operations Controller and Compliance Officer, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Promote HSSEQ compliance, support safety initiatives and manage incident escalation.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and management presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional qualification in Transport, Fleet or Project Management is an advantage.
• Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., CILT, KISM, KIFWA) is desirable.
