About the role
The Fleet Associate will manage the day‑to‑day operations of Peach’s vehicle fleet in Nairobi. This hands‑on role ensures that all vehicles are maintained, moved, inspected and documented in line with company policies and Kenyan regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee safety, order and compliance of all vehicles on the lot, conducting regular lot walks.
- Perform structured vehicle check‑ins, recording condition, mileage, fuel level and any damage.
- Drive and relocate vehicles between branches as directed, logging each movement.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules and flag unscheduled issues promptly.
- Facilitate vehicle handovers to customers, staff or other branches, completing all documentation.
- Manage KD and KG dealer number plates, ensuring secure storage and accurate tracking.
- Control vehicle keys, tagging, storing and recording all issuances and returns.
Required profile
- Valid Kenyan driving licence.
- Certificate of Good Conduct from Kenya Police.
- Working knowledge of computer systems, especially Google Sheets.
- Certificate or diploma in automotive technology, mechanics or a related field (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
- Physical ability to perform regular vehicle movement and site inspections.
