About the role

The Food Runner supports efficient restaurant and event service by delivering food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. This role ensures high standards of presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction throughout the service period.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver food orders promptly to the correct tables or service points.
  • Verify orders before leaving the kitchen.
  • Coordinate closely with line chefs, dispatch, and waitstaff.
  • Maintain food presentation and handling standards during delivery.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting service areas when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of food collection and service areas.
  • Communicate delays, missing items, or order discrepancies immediately.
  • Observe food safety and hygiene requirements at all times.

Required profile

  • Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Good personal hygiene and presentation.
  • Ability to remain organised during busy service periods.
