Front Office Receptionist

About the role

The Front Office Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients at Naliye Agency Limited’s Westlands office in Nairobi. This role ensures a welcoming environment, manages communications and supports the smooth operation of daily office activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, welcome and direct guests and clients to the appropriate staff member.
• Answer, screen, take messages and route incoming phone calls on a multi‑line telephone system.
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail, packages and courier deliveries.
• Maintain office security by monitoring visitors and issuing guest badges.
• Keep the reception and lobby area clean, tidy and fully stocked with required materials.
• Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning and copying.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with at least 12 months of experience in a front‑office or reception role.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Operation of a multi‑line telephone system.
• Basic computer literacy (email, MS Office, scanning and copying).
