Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join micro1’s AI‑training project. You will use your UI development expertise to create high‑quality, real‑world input that helps train next‑generation AI models. No prior AI experience is required – your frontend skills are what matter.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clear code samples, debugging approaches, and development insights in JavaScript, TypeScript and a modern framework (React, Vue or Angular).
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs, layout issues and state‑related problems across diverse codebases.
• Build small to medium interface features, ensuring components are clean, reusable and easy to follow.
• Improve existing frontend code for readability, performance and consistency.
• Document reasoning, approach and code decisions to support AI training data quality.
• Review peer‑contributed code and technical submissions for correctness and clarity.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience building user interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design and component‑based architecture.
• Ability to debug UI issues using browser developer tools and reason about state and rendering.
• Comfortable working across different codebases and learning unfamiliar components.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Interest or curiosity about AI technical challenges (previous AI experience not required).
