Frontend Web Developer – HTML & CSS (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a contract Frontend Web Developer specialized in HTML and CSS to work remotely on a high‑traffic platform for a global technology leader. You will translate design mockups into responsive, pixel‑perfect user interfaces while ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Ensure responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility across devices.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement pixel‑perfect UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS with a strong understanding of semantic markup.
• Experience with responsive design principles and mobile‑first approaches.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) or frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
• Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
• Ability to implement designs from tools such as Figma or Sketch.
