Frontend Web Developer – HTML & CSS (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Frontend Web Developer specialized in HTML and CSS to build and maintain responsive user interfaces for a high‑traffic platform. The role is contract‑based and offers the chance to work with a global leader in the technology, information and internet sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS and related technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate mockups into pixel‑perfect UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS with a solid grasp of semantic markup.
• Experience applying responsive design principles and mobile‑first approaches.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) or frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and testing.
• Capability to implement designs from tools like Figma or Sketch.
