Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Andela is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join its remote‑first FinTech team. The role focuses on building and evolving financial services software, integrating intelligent AI features, and delivering high‑quality user experiences for new financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front‑end services using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Next.js, and KoaJS.
• Design and maintain reusable UI components and micro‑frontend architectures.
• Engineer full‑stack solutions with microservices, using Java, Spring Boot and Apache Camel.
• Integrate system services via SOAP, REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Incorporate Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines with vector databases.
• Build and deploy Model Context Protocol servers and MCP‑based tool‑use integrations for autonomous AI agents.
• Implement governance, security and rate‑limiting controls for AI‑driven pipelines.
• Execute functional and non‑functional testing, document releases, and troubleshoot issues.
