Full-time Waiter – Hospitality Role

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and efficient waiter to join our restaurant team in Westlands, Nairobi. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality service to guests from the moment they arrive until they leave, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and answering questions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve meals and drinks with proper etiquette, timing, and attention to detail.
• Check on guests regularly, address concerns, and anticipate additional needs.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and involve supervisors when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain clean, well‑set tables (mise en place) before service and reset them after each guest.
• Process bills accurately, managing cash or POS transactions responsibly.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking supplies, and inventory monitoring.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Service.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Well‑groomed, professional appearance and attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to high‑quality service.
