Global Affairs Lead

About the role

Glovo is seeking a strategic leader to design and execute a unified Global Affairs strategy for Kenya, its most important Sub‑Saharan market. You will act as the primary point of contact for government relations, public policy, media, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring the company operates in a favorable regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the non‑market strategy, coordinating with internal teams such as Marketing, Legal, and Operations.
• Lead engagement with senior government officials, regulators, think tanks, and industry associations.
• Oversee public relations and social‑media activities to strengthen brand reputation and awareness.
• Develop and monitor impact and sustainability projects that align with Glovo’s purpose.
• Prepare in‑depth analyses of stakeholder landscapes, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage the allocated budget to deliver scalable and measurable outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or corporate communications, preferably in emerging markets.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and ability to anticipate legislative changes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior leadership.
