Global HR Partner

About the role

The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking a Global HR Partner to support its remote workforce and contractors. This full‑time remote position will help align IEEFA’s culture with initiatives that foster an inclusive, engaged global team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR contact for the Employer of Record (EOR) and serve as the liaison between IEEFA and the EOR.
• Provide trusted HR advice on personnel inquiries, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution, escalating complex matters to the HR Director.
• Partner with the HR Director to develop and implement IEEFA’s HR strategy and initiatives.
• Analyze workforce trends and metrics to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Lead complex recruitment processes, ensuring a high‑quality candidate and hiring‑manager experience.
• Prepare formal HR correspondence, including employment contracts.
• Facilitate new‑employee orientation and develop additional HR training programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records in IEEFA’s databases.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
• Preference for candidates based in Kenya; candidates in other African time zones considered.
