Global Operations Manager

About the role

GOAL 3 is scaling a life‑saving medical monitoring system across Africa. The Global Operations Manager will design and run the operational backbone that enables reliable implementation and support of the IMPALA system in multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and service partners.
• Establish governance structures, SLAs and performance monitoring for all partners.
• Lead contract negotiations, renewals and performance reviews in collaboration with Country Managers and leadership.
• Maintain global oversight of operational capacity, planning and coordination of supply chain activities.
• Translate expansion plans into practical operational frameworks and processes.
• Ensure country teams have the tools, capacity and support needed for successful implementation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 8 years (96 months) of relevant experience.
• Strong systems thinking and operational leadership abilities.
• Proven experience managing suppliers, partners and complex logistics in a multi‑country environment.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Country Managers, service teams and leadership.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Sub‑Saharan Africa (≈20%).
