Head of Finance

About the role

Viya Health, a global femtech company with $40M revenue and 200+ staff, is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its global finance function across 17 markets. The role reports to the President and covers financial planning and analysis, consolidated reporting, financial controls and audit readiness, cash and treasury, lender relationships, pricing and margin governance, and the finance operating model. It is fully remote, with manager approval depending on location, and involves 10-25% travel, primarily international.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual financial planning, budgeting, performance management and commercial finance across all entities, markets and business lines, including the monthly business review.
• Assess investment proposals, build scenario models and own pricing and margin governance, tracking unit economics by brand, market and channel.
• Set up and maintain financial policies, procedures and internal controls, oversee the Controller, review and sign off financial statements, ensure audit readiness and lead the year-end audit.
• Ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance in every country, and own the finance systems roadmap (ERP, consolidation, planning and reporting tools).
• Prepare investor and funder reporting, covenant compliance reporting, quarterly MD&A reports and restricted grant reporting, and present financial narratives to the Board and investors.
• Own cash forecasting and liquidity, manage banking and treasury, lender and investor relationships, and lead future capital raising, debt facilities and inventory financing.
• Manage the finance team, including the Controller, regional finance leads and market finance managers, and develop the finance operating model.
• Work with the COO on sales and operations planning, inventory policy and working capital, and partner with the HealthX Partners group on finance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (international equivalent); Master's preferred.
• At least 10 years of related experience, including senior finance leadership in an international context; 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience building or rebuilding a finance function, ideally in a growth-stage company of $25M-$150M revenue.
• Hands-on experience with debt facilities, covenant management and lender/investor reporting.
• Fluent English; Spanish or French is an asset.

Required skills

• Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidated financial management; blended finance and grant reporting.
• Financial and operational modeling, risk assessment and investment advice.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Infor Lawson) and database warehousing or OLAP preferred; expert Excel.
• Group or holding company experience with shared services preferred.

What we offer

• Salary ranges of $128,000 to $192,000 for US hires, with comparable pay for others hired through the local office.
