Head of Rural Entrepreneur Partner (REP) Program

About the role

Finagra is seeking a strategic and hands‑on leader to own and scale its Rural Entrepreneur Partner (REP) program in Kenya. The Head of REP Program will manage the full lifecycle of REPs—from identification and onboarding to performance monitoring and portfolio optimisation—while building a thriving community of rural entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a disciplined pipeline for sourcing, screening, contracting and onboarding REPs.
• Develop scoring models, KYC/KYB checks, land verification and credit assessments to ensure high‑quality partner selection.
• Monitor portfolio metrics such as capital deployed, ROI/ROIC, profit‑share economics and seasonal performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Agronomy, Operations, Finance, Legal, Tech, Supply Chain) around a shared data set and execution plan.
• Spend significant time in the field building trust with partners, troubleshooting onboarding issues and supporting community development.
• Lead the continuous improvement of REP performance, retention and replacement strategies.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in agribusiness, rural development or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage complex investment portfolios and make capital‑allocation decisions.
• Comfortable operating both in boardrooms and on‑the‑ground in rural settings.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in risk management and performance tracking.
