Healthcare Virtual Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support a U.S.-based behavioral health organization. This non‑clinical, administrative position works fully remote in an async‑first environment, ensuring smooth patient interactions and accurate system management.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Respond to patient inquiries via email and live calls.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Support intake, rescheduling, and follow‑up administrative tasks.
• Ensure all communications and documentation comply with HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Maintain organized internal documentation using Notion and Google Workspace.
• Assist with internal reporting and data tracking to improve operational visibility.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a patient‑facing role.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, async‑first setting.
• Exposure to behavioral or mental health environments is strongly preferred.
