History & Kiswahili Teacher (A‑Level)

About the role

MM - MV Shah Academy is looking for a qualified History and Kiswahili teacher to deliver A‑Level instruction in Mombasa. The successful candidate will work within the Cambridge International Education framework, providing high‑quality lessons to senior secondary students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging History and Kiswahili lessons for A‑Level students.
• Design and implement assessment tools aligned with Cambridge International standards.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive curriculum.
• Stay updated on Cambridge curriculum changes and integrate best practices.

Required profile

• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
• Ability to teach A‑Level History and Kiswahili.
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge International Education and its assessment framework.
• Proven experience in planning, implementing and evaluating learning outcomes.
• Effective communication and classroom management skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of the Cambridge International curriculum for History and Kiswahili.
• Proficiency in designing A‑Level assessment materials.
• Ability to develop structured lesson plans and instructional resources.
