About the role
Oshwal Academy, a private international school delivering the British curriculum from pre‑school to Year 13, is looking for a Hospitality Teacher to join its Westlands campus in Nairobi. The successful candidate will teach hospitality subjects to secondary‑level students, prepare them for examinations and develop practical skills that meet British National Curriculum standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom lessons in hospitality topics.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations and grade assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and authority.
- Develop and update curriculum materials and teaching guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior staff to align teaching with the school’s academic goals.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in the relevant subject area (e.g., B.Ed.).
- Minimum of four years of teaching experience in hospitality or related subjects.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Experience with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
