Hotel Reservation Specialist – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Hotel Reservation Specialist to join our travel operations team in Nairobi. In this full‑time position you will manage hotel bookings, keep accurate records, and ensure smooth travel arrangements for both individual and group itineraries.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the complete hotel reservation process, including inquiries, bookings, confirmations, modifications, and cancellations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date reservation records and promptly reflect any changes.
• Monitor hotel room availability and pricing to optimise cost‑control.
• Coordinate with hotel partners to resolve allocation issues, overbookings, and other reservation‑related challenges.
• Collaborate with the travel and administration departments to support seamless hotel arrangements.

Required profile

• Proficient with major hotel reservation systems and OTA platforms such as Booking.com and Expedia.
• Familiar with standard hotel reservation workflows and booking procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, and cost‑control abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient, and able to work under pressure.
• Capable of handling unexpected booking modifications and cancellations.
• Willing to follow company work assignments.
