Household Cleaner & Care Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and diligent Household Cleaner & Care Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our client’s home in Westlands, Kenya. This full‑time position involves a variety of cleaning, laundry, and basic caregiving tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all household surfaces.
• Wash, iron, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with kitchen duties as required.
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen areas sanitary.
• Make beds and change bed linens regularly.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Dispose of household waste appropriately.
• Assist with childcare or elderly care when needed.
• Report maintenance issues or household concerns to the employer.
• Follow household rules and maintain confidentiality.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Trustworthy, respectful of privacy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic literacy to understand simple instructions.
