Housing Subsidy Liaison

About the role

The Housing Subsidy Liaison leads Springbrook’s Housing Subsidy Program awarded by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The role ensures safe, compliant, and quality housing solutions for individuals we support.

Key responsibilities

• Apply OPWDD Housing Subsidy Program guidance to create audit‑safe subsidy opportunities.
• Verify enrollee eligibility, select allowable housing, and meet quality‑assurance standards.
• Organize and complete annual recertification for all enrollees.
• Serve as liaison between OPWDD, landlords, brokers, care managers, and providers to resolve tenancy issues.
• Maintain knowledge of Springbrook’s billing and payment processes and attend OPWDD trainings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• OPWDD experience preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid billing preferred.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and drive Springbrook vehicles as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer software with ability to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of housing subsidy billing and payment processes.
