HR & Administration Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised HR and Administration professional to support the Parish Pastor and leadership team. The role combines strategic HR leadership with day‑to‑day office management to ensure smooth operations and a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, leave and attendance management.
• Coordinate performance reviews, professional development, and staff welfare initiatives.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and ensure compliance with HR policies.
• Supervise administrative and support staff, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
• Oversee office operations: diary management, correspondence, supplies, petty cash, procurement and supplier liaison.
• Maintain filing, document control, records management and archiving systems.
• Provide administrative support to the Parish Pastor, ministry leaders, committees and staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of relevant HR and administration experience.
• Mid‑level professional with strong judgment, confidentiality and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, people‑focused and able to work in a faith‑based environment.

What we offer

• Competitive gross salary of KES 60,000 – 70,000 per month.
• Full‑time, onsite role within a supportive parish community.
