GEDSI Coordinator – THRIVE Project

About the role

The Gender Equality, Disability & Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Coordinator will provide technical leadership for the THRIVE Project, ensuring that gender equality, disability considerations and social inclusion are fully integrated into programme activities focused on economic empowerment, environment and climate change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead GEDSI integration across THRIVE, Regreening for the Future and Kenya Water Towers interventions.
• Develop and deliver training materials and workshops for staff, partners and local authorities.
• Provide capacity‑building support to project teams and monitor the quality of GEDSI implementation.
• Ensure alignment with World Vision Kenya’s NO Strategy and GEDSI Theory of Change.
• Promote participation of women, youth and persons with disabilities in project structures.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience in gender, disability, social inclusion or related fields.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, capacity building and programme monitoring.
• Strong understanding of GEDSI concepts and their application in development programmes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
