HR Generalist

About the role

Komatsu is seeking an HR Generalist to support its Western dealership network. Based onsite in Las Vegas, NV (or Salt Lake City, UT), you will act as a trusted HR partner, delivering full‑spectrum HR services across multiple dealer locations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures, and employee‑relations issues.
• Draft, revise, and edit company policies ensuring legal compliance.
• Partner with hiring managers to create and update job descriptions.
• Conduct new‑employee orientations and explain benefit plans.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and coordinate policy‑related reimbursements with finance.
• Prepare and submit HR reports on time.
• Lead health, wellness, and safety initiatives.
• Manage performance and merit review processes for hourly staff.
• Support accelerated technical training programs and internal communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter with ability to travel to multiple dealer sites.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency
