HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a growing multinational team in Nairobi. The role combines deep knowledge of Kenyan employment law with international HR practice, supporting both local staff and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to separation.
• Partner with managers and employees to provide practical HR guidance and support recruitment, selection, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate employee records, coordinate contracts, leave, attendance, performance management and other HR processes.
• Implement and maintain HR policies in line with Kenyan law, local practices and company standards.
• Support performance management, employee development, training and engagement initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports and deliver people‑related insights to management.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
• Promote an inclusive, positive workplace culture and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance with labor regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational or fast‑paced organization.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience working with multicultural or geographically diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and judgment skills for handling sensitive matters.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills for reporting and data‑driven decision making.
